The tournament gathered 305 athletes from 23 Karate clubs in and outside the province, competing in 21 categories divided into two age groups (up to 14 years old and 15 years old and above). After two exciting days of competition, Ben Cat town achieved the first place overall with 4 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 8 bronze medals. Phu Giao district secured the second position with 3 gold medals, 5 silver medals, and 1 bronze medal, while Thuan An city ranked third with 3 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals.
This is a meaningful activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam – Japan diplomatic relations. It also provided an opportunity for athletes to exchange and learn from each other’s experiences, contributing to the promotion of the Karate training movement in the province. After this tournament, potential athletes who have achieved outstanding results will receive further training to prepare them for national-level competitions in the future.
