This privacy & personal data processing Policy is used with the purpose to help data subjects to understand, ensure their understanding, and obtain their consent for matters related to the data collection, storage and processing of personal data by AEONMALL VIETNAM Co.,Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “AEONMALL Vietnam” or “we”) and ensure privacy of personal data to all data subjects when (1) contacting through official corperate website of AEONMALL Vietnam Co., Ltd.; (2) providing personal data to AEONMALL Vietnam via attached resume and other forms.
The data subjects should carefully read this Policy including the revised and amended versions of the Policy (also known as “Policy”) before providing personal data to AEONMALL Vietnam. The data subjects’ (1) contact through official corperate website of AEONMALL Vietnam Co., Ltd.; (2) provide personal data to AEONMALL Vietnam via attached resume and other forms is an acknowledgement of having read, understood, and apprehended the full content of this Policy and give consent, agree to allow AEONMALL Vietnam to process personal data in accordance with the entire content of this Policy, including the revised and amended versions of the Policy updated and published on the website, communication channels and other hosting platforms from time to time of AEONMALL Vietnam and in accordance with relevant laws.
If the data subject does not agree with any part of this Policy, please do not contact, participate in or provide/ send personal data to AEONMALL Vietnam.
I. Type of personal data collection and method, time of data processing
- Type of personal data collection
From the official information page, whose domain address is https://aeonmall-vietnam.com, AEONMALL Vietnam will collect and process personal data of subjects from time to time. For clarity, processed personal data is the information of an individual or used for identification of an individual. Personal data includes general personal datas which can be: full name, date of birth, contact address, place of residence, email, phone number, ID card number, personal identification number, personal image, relevant information about health, occupation or any information, data as prescribed by law from time to time is personal data.
- Method of data processing
Personal data of data subjects may be disclosed, stored, and processed such as access, trace, retrieve, encrypt, copy, share, transmit, provide, transfer, delete, destruct or other relevant in Vietnam or in any countries where AEONMALL Vietnam has a contract with a third party in that country to provide official corporate website development services, data collection and processing or customer care and communication.
- Storing personal data
Personal data of data subjects will be processed and stored from the moment we receive the personal data with the data subjects’ consent, until the data subjects request for cancellation or withdrawal of consent or as prescribed by law. Personal data of data subjects will be secured on the server managed by AEONMALL Vietnam.
II. Purpose of personal data processing
- AEONMALL Vietnam collects, stores and processes personal data and/or is provided by data subjects to identify, verify information, support, contact and exchange information with data subjects while providing services. In addition, AEONMALL Vietnam shall process personal data of data subjects as prescribed by law and requirement of competent authorities.
- AEONMALL Vietnam uses and processes personal data provided by data subjects to:
(i) Identify, authenticate and verify data subjects’ information;
(ii) Send notifications about exchanging information activities between data subjects and AEONMALL Vietnam in order for data subjects to follow that information and to announce that AEONMALL Vietnam had recorded that information;
(iii) Connect and solve data subjects’ issues in special cases;
(iv) Connect and discuss with data subjects for recruitment purposes;
(v) Perform internal data analysis of AEONMALL Vietnam;
(vi) Detect, prevent, investigate and handle activities that violate policies and regulations of AEONMALL Vietnam and/or violate Vietnamese laws;
(vii) Share, transmit, provide personal data to other third parties (for the purposes mentioned above and other appropriate purposes), including but not limited to affiliated companies, other companies under AEON Group; partners, agencies, suppliers of goods/services, contractors, consultants of AEONMALL Vietnam, etc. or at the request of competent authorities;
(viii) Any other purposes to which data subjects’ consent has been obtained.
AEONMALLL Vietnam has the responsibility to cooperate in providing personal data of data subjects when there is a request from state agencies who have authorization or in special cases following the regulations of law.
To accomplish the above purposes, AEONMALL Vietnam shall consider sharing personal data of data subjects to:
(i) any individuals assigned by us to collect, store and process personal data, and/or
(ii) AEONMALL Vietnam’s official corporate website development service provider, and/or
(iii) Service providers that collect data subjects’ information or provide care, customer communications, and/or other partners with whom AEONMALL Vietnam collaborates to process personal data for the purposes outlined in this section.
(iv) Competent authorities as prescribed by law.
(v) Any collection or using personal data of data subjects without purposes mentioned in this Policy can only be accepted when allowed by that data subjects, unless the regulations from law case.
III. Third-Party Link
AEONMALL Vietnam’s website may contain links to third-party websites, apps and online service that are not owned or controlled by AEONMALL Vietnam. AEONMALL Vietnam has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for the websites, apps and online service of third party. Please be careful when you leave AEONMALL Vietnam’s official corporate website. Data subjects are highly recommended to acknowledge terms and conditions of such websites, apps and online service of third party.
IV. Rights and obligations of data subjects about personal data that we process:
- Data subjects’ rights:
(a) To be informed of him/her personal data processing.
(b) To withdraw him/her consent.
(c) To delete or request deletion of him/her personal data.
(d) To request AEONMALL Vietnam to obtain restriction on the processing of him/her personal data.
(e) To request AEONMALL Vietnam to provide him/her with personal data.
(f) To object to AEONMALL Vietnam and 3rd-party provider processing personal data of data subjects in order to prevent or restrict the disclosure of personal data or the use of personal data for advertising and marketing purposes.
(g) To file complaints, denunciations and lawsuits as prescribed by law.
(h) To claim damage as prescribed by law when there are violations against regulations on protection of him/her personal data.
(i) Other rights as prescribed by law. - Data subjects’ obligations:
(a) Protect him/her personal data.
(b) Fully and accurately provide him/her personal data.
(c) Data subjects must be responsible to promptly notify us about inappropriate behavior of using, abusing, violating privacy of third party to AEONMALL Vietnam’s official corporate website to provide suitable solution.
(d) Other obligations as prescribed by law. - Relationship between the data subject and AEONMALL Vietnam
3.1. Data subjects should commit that given personal data are true, accurate and sufficient at the time of submission. When data subjects provide personal data, we understood that they allowed us to collect and use the personal data with the purpose and scope mentioned in this Policy. Any inaccurate information may affect data subjects’ benefits and we will not be responsible for those cases.
3.2. In case that a violation of personal data protection regulations is detected, including but not limited to the server being attacked by a hacker leading to the loss of personal data of data subjects, AEONMALL Vietnam shall have the responsibility to notify the issue to authorities to investigate timely as prescribed by law and announce to data subjects to coordinate in solving.
3.3. In case data subject requests restriction or objection on the processing of data subject’s personal data, data subject shall send the request for restriction or objection to AEONMALL Vietnam via email specified in Item V hereinafter. Data subject’s request shall be implemented by AEONMALL Vietnam within the time limit prescribed by law, with all personal data that data subject requests the restriction or objection.
3.4. In case data subject requests AEONMALL Vietnam to provide data subject’s personal data, data subject shall submit the request under form No.01 specified in the Appendix of Decree No. 13/2023/ND-CP to AEONMALL Vietnam via email specified in Item V hereinafter. This request shall be implemented by AEONMALL Vietnam within the time limit prescribed by law.
3.5. For AEONMALL Vietnam to solve requests/complains of individuals/organizations when contacting us, requestors are obligated to provide sufficient pesonal data and responsible with this information. AEONMALL Vietnam will not be responsible or solve any complains relating to data subjects’ benefits if the initial personal data provided from that data subjects were incorrect.

VI. Commitment to protect personal data of data subjects
In all cases, we are committed to, with all necessary and reasonable efforts, to secure and protect the personal data that data subjects provide in accordance with requirements and standards of protecting personal data as prescribed by law and regulation of this Policy.
However, please note that AEONMALL Vietnam cannot eliminate the security risks associated with the processing of personal data.
However, personal data of data subjects may be leaked during the processes of collecting and processing personal data may lead to the following consequences:
- Data subjects’ identity can be stolen, faked and data subjects’ personal information can be used for improper purposes;
- Data subjects lose control of his/her personal data;
- Data subjects can be tracked when information about the workplace is leaked.
VII. Update
AEONMALL Vietnam, from time to time, reserves the right to amend, adjust the content of this Policy and such modifications will take effect immediately at the time of posting on the website or related channels other official information/system of AEONMALL Vietnam.
