The cash donation includes USD 50,000 (equivalent to 1,305,600,000 dong) from the AEON 1% Club Foundation, and an additional USD 50,000 (about 1,305,600,000 dong) jointly contributed by AEON Group’s subsidiaries in Vietnam – such as AEONMALL Vietnam, AEON Vietnam, AEON Delight Vietnam, AEON TopValu Vietnam, AEON Fantasy Vietnam, and others, together with their employees through trade unions at each company.

This meaningful activity reflects AEONMALL Vietnam and AEON Group’s ongoing commitment to supporting local communities and helping the Northern provinces of Vietnam recover from the recent natural disasters.

During the donation ceremony, Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Ho Chi Minh City, shared:

“On behalf of the Committee, we sincerely thank the kindness and generosity of foreign-invested enterprises and international corporations such as AEON Group, along with many organizations and individuals who have contributed to this meaningful cause.
Your valuable contributions will help local people overcome difficulties, resume production, stabilize their lives, and allow children to return to school soon.”

As part of its vision to become “a co-creator with local communities,” AEONMALL Vietnam not only focuses on business growth but also sees close cooperation with local people as an essential part of its development journey. This donation is not only an emergency relief effort but also the first step toward helping communities rebuild and achieve sustainable recovery.

With years of experience in disaster response in Japan, we will continue to stand by local communities whenever natural disasters occur. AEON Group, and AEONMALL Vietnam in particular, remain committed to supporting affected areas and hope this contribution will help ease the hardship faced by people in the northern provinces impacted by the two typhoons.
