AEONMALL Vietnam Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as AEONMALL Vietnam) signed the “Memorandum of Understanding on the investment decision of AEON MALL shopping mall in Dong Nai Province” with Dong Nai Province People’s Committee (hereinafter referred to as Dong Nai PC) and “Investment agreement” with Hoc Mon District People’s Committee (hereinafter referred to as Hoc Mon PC).
- The Investment agreement with Hoc Mon PC was signed at the “Investment promotion conference in Hoc Mon District and Cu Chi District in 2022” organized on April 12th, 2022, under the witness of President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and other senior officials of Vietnam.
- The Memorandum of Understanding with Dong Nai PC was signed at “Documents Handover ceremony between Japan and Vietnam” held on May 1st, 2022, with the presence of Prime Minister of Japan – H.E. Mr. Kishida Fumio, Prime Minister of Vietnam – H.E. Mr. Pham Minh Chinh and senior officials of the Vietnam Government in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Dong Nai Province which is adjacent to Ho Chi Minh City – the country’s largest economic city, has a population of approximately 3.1 million. The province developed strongly as a commercial area in the 17th – 18th century, it is also one of the first provinces in Vietnam to develop industrials such as industrial zone with synchronous infrastructure, attracts a great amount of foreign direct investment (FDI) and is positioned as a key economic region in the South.
On the other hand, the promotion of urban development, large-scale transportation projects such as the construction of the new Long Thanh International Airport, the inauguration of new highways, etc., shall help the regional economy to grow further in the future.
Hoc Mon District is one of the satellite suburbs located in the northwest of Ho Chi Minh City where attracts much attention with a large land fund and natural environment. Along with the synchronous development of infrastructure such as development plans of the Ring Road No. 3, the Ho Chi Minh City – Moc Bai expressway and the metro line, this area has many expectations for further economic development in the future.
In addition to promoting in the South, North and Central regions – the locality with the third largest economy in Vietnam, including projects signed with Dong Nai province, Ho Chi Minh City this time, AEONMALL continues to promote investment in shopping malls in neighboring urban areas.
