Aiming to standing alongside the Government of Vietnam and fulfilling AEON’s commitment and responsibility to society, in line with the business philosophy of AEON Group – pursuing peace, respecting humans, and contributing to local communities, AEON Group has made donation to share and support the people of the Northern region who are heavily affected by typhoons and floods.
The donation ceremony was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Ho Chi Minh city, representatives of subsidiary companies from the AEON Group in Vietnam. The total donation from the AEON 1% Club Foundation, AEONMALL Vietnam, AEON Vietnam, AEON Delight Vietnam, AEON TopValu Vietnam, and AEON Fantasy Vietnam was directly transferred to the bank account of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Ho Chi Minh City.
Leveraging the group’s experience in disaster response in Japan, we positively support local communities during natural disasters. AEON Group, in general and AEONMALL Vietnam, in particular, join hands in local disaster prevention activities, such as providing emergency supplies, our parking lots as evacuation areas, and conducting joint emergency drills.
Furthermore, the AEON 1% Club Foundation, established in 1990, implements initiatives on “environmental preservation, international culture, personnel exchange, development of talent, and promotion of local cultures and society”.
AEON Group hopes that this donation will help share the difficulties with people severely affected by Typhoon Yagi, assist in overcoming the consequences, and support the rebuilding of their lives.
