Thanh Hoa Province, where the Mall is located, is approximately 135 km south of Hanoi and has the third-largest population in the country. The provincial capital – Thanh Hoa City, has seen a significant reduction in travel time from Hanoi capital due to the opening of a highway in 2022, which has accelerated the strong entry of many companies and factories, and high economic growth is expected to continue.
The site is located about a 10-minute drive time from the city center. National Route 1 is through from north to south of Vietnam, and a Ring Road surrounds the urban area. The Mall faces the Ring Road, offering excellent accessibility from the city center, as well as advantageous access from a wider area.
On September 28, 2024, Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee held a conference to grant Land Use Rights Certificates and Investment Registration Certificates for the AEON MALL Thanh Hoa shopping mall project.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Thi – Standing Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee sincerely thanked AEON MALL for its interest, research and investment in Thanh Hoa province. He emphasized: “We highly appreciate the group’s decision to invest a shopping mall in Thanh Hoa. This will be an important project of the province, expected to bring positive impacts to the authorities and people of Thanh Hoa, helping to promote the development of tourism services, production as well as change people’s shopping habits, while contributing to creating momentum for the province’s economic development in the future.”
