This year, the contest attracted over 700 participants from 6 AEON MALLs. After two rounds of the contest organized at each shopping mall, 12 finalists who attended the final round at AEON MALL Ha Dong on November 14, 2024, demonstrated their continuous efforts to bring sincere emotions and a dedicated attitude towards customer service.
AEON MALL’s Role Play Contest aims to enhance the skills and abilities of tenants staffs in greeting and serving customers. It provides an opportunity for employees to improve their sales skills, problem-solving abilities, and professionalism in customer service. Through realistic role-playing challenges, participants learn how to interact effectively with customers, create a positive impression, and deliver a perfect shopping experience.
This year’s contest attracted many young, talented participants from a variety of business sectors, which reflects how brands are increasingly focused on enhancing customer service quality to deliver Omotenashi experience. In just 5 minutes, with the support of actors, the 12 contestants had to overcome obstacles by tackling unexpected challenges. With a spirit of progress and passion, the contestants not only excelled in completing their tasks but also made a lasting impression, ensuring that every customer felt valued and satisfied.
Ms. Vu Ngoc Hoa, CEO of the Business Academy and a member of the Board of Judges, shared: “This is the second year I’ve had the honor of participating as a judge in the Role Play Contest. Through the 12 performances, I can clearly feel the confidence and enthusiasm of the contestants, which is reflected in their eager and dedicated approach to customer service. Role Play Contest is truly a valuable platform that allows young people to hone their skills and express themselves. 12 contestants in the final round each presented a colorful performance. They not only welcomed customers with professionalism but also conveyed sincere emotions, from paying attention to the smallest needs of customers to being flexible in handling unexpected situations.

After overcoming 11 other finalists, Ms. Nguyen Phuong Thao, staff of Adidas at AEON MALL Long Biên, was proudly achieved the first prize. She shared: “I feel very proud and emotional to be honored with the first prize in the final round of Role Play Contest.
