Attending and directing the Fire Drill were Colonel Mr. Duong Duc Hai, Deputy Director of Hanoi Police Department, representatives of the city’s authorities, representatives of Ha Dong District People’s Committee. The drill also welcomed the participant of Mr. Suga Kotaro, Secretary of the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam.

This year’s fire drill has been a great success due to the prompt and professional preparation of all forces and in accordance with the instructions from the authorities.

Hypothetically, at 9 am on 11th November 2022, the storage area of supermarket and the food court area on the 1st floor of AEON MALL Ha Dong caught fire. The initially determined reason is by liquid fuel.

Other forces and facilities are deployed in time to coordinate with Fire Fighting Team to extinguish fires and rescue people in the building.

With scientific firefighting and accurate rescue tactics from Fire Fighting Team applied uniformly and coordinated by a team of professional and well-trained staff from AEON MALL Vietnam, AEON Delight Vietnam and AEON Vietnam, at about 9:55, the fire was completely contained and extinguished, all the victims were rescued safely, taken to a safe gathering area, taken to the emergency room in time.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel, Mr. Duong Duc Hai, Deputy Director of Hanoi Police Department highly appreciated and warmly praised the sense of responsibility, discipline, and efforts of the forces participating the Fire Drill at AEON MALL Ha Dong.

General Director of AEONMALL Vietnam, Mr. Nakagawa Tetsuyuki said at the ceremony:

“AEON MALL has been and will continue to focus on conducting Fire Drill regularly, as well as constantly improving the skills of all staffs working at our shopping mall. Along with that, we will keep coordinating with Fire Fighting Police and Tenants in the serious implementation of firefighting at AEON MALL Ha Dong.“
