On 1st May 2022, under the witness of Prime Minister of Japan – H.E. Mr. Kishida Fumio, Prime Minister of Vietnam – H.E. Mr. Phạm Minh Chính, and senior officials of Vietnam, the AEON MALL Hue was granted “Approval policy for AEONMALL Vietnam Co., Ltd. to implement the project Commercial Service Center at Zone A – An Van Duong Urban Area” in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Thua Thien Hue province and Hue city have a population of 1,130,000 and 650,000, respectively. Hue city has been expanded in 2021, is being considered upgrading to a municipal city, and this area is also expected to have strong economic development in the future.
The location of the project is in the large-scale development area in the east of Hue city, which is planned to develop the administrative center, office buildings, residential areas… and next to the new urban area where many new families, middle-income groups live; and further population growth is expected in the coming time.
Following the Southern and Northern regions, AEONMALL continues to promote shopping malls investment in the Central region – the third-largest economic region in Vietnam, including Thua Thien Hue province.
