The moment of transition between the old year and the new year is extremely special, when a 365-day journey ends and a new one begins. What matters is not only the hopes from the coming year, but also the precious time everyone spends to reflect on his or her challenges and achievements during the past year. This should be the self-recognition, self-encouragement, and also opportunities for us to know what we have done and shall do in the promising new year.

  1. Team-building – 10-year-anniversary of AEONMALL Vietnam in Phu Quoc.

Team-building is an annual activity providing opportunities for employees to gather and have a break from the daily work. In 2023, the Team-building trip was considered more special than ever because of its purpose – to celebrate the occasion of AEONMALL Vietnam’s 10-year anniversary. With the message “One heart, thousand bonds”, this trip, which connected our employees all over Vietnam, will always remain as a beautiful memory for each “AEON MALL-er”.

2. Company Trip.

In addition to the Team-building trip, we also accompanied each other on the annual Company trip. It was a trip to fully relax and connect, and deemed by some people as an authentic “food tour”.

3. The race “AEON MALL Happy Feet” .

The race “AEON MALL Happy Feet” once again returned in 2023 with the gathering of “athletes” from all AEONMALL Vietnam offices. It was organized with a sole purpose to help employees shape their keep-fit habits, pay attention to their inner lives, and ensure work-life balance. After 4 weeks of perseverance, we gradually got used to putting aside work at the end of the shift and together jogging, running, or cycling. Besides, the race presented many attractive prizes for individuals and teams as gifts of encouragement. Let’s take a look at the stunning moments of this year’s “Happy Feet” season!

4. Birthday Party.

We understand that birthday is a very special and meaningful occasion for every person. Therefore, at each AEON MALL office, celebrating monthly birthdays is an indispensable activity to spread joy and warmth to all employees and to foster the spirit of cohesion.

5. Training Courses for Employees.

Last but not least, it would be remiss not to mention our training programs. Human development has always been one of the most important goals of AEONMALL Vietnam. In 2023, we have successfully organized several soft skill training courses with diverse topics such as Communication Skill, Time Management and Planning Skill, and Leadership Skill, which are suitable for different levels and job features. These courses have provided employees with essential skills for both their work and personal life.

In addition, we also cooperated with different departments to organize internal training courses. Trainers of the courses, who are experts of management levels, would share useful knowledge related to their expertise: Competitor Survey, Types of Rent in the Mall, Customer Focus Mindset, etc. Through each sharing session, the participants should know more about the company’s operation procedures as well as the job nature of other departments to easily understand their duties and build a more versatile and professional working environment together.

The year of 2023 has nearly come to an end with many unforgettable memories and moments. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the entire members of this huge “family” – the crucial pieces of AEONMALL Vietnam. With all our gratitude, we will keep trying our best to build a “Happiness” workplace, where our employees can both develop professionally and maintain positive mental health at all times.
